The Crafty Fox Story

Thank you for visiting my website. I’m Kathryn Clarke, the owner of Crafty Fox Web in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire and I provide digital marketing services.

I’ve always been passionate about design and illustration. It started with an obsession for colouring in as a child, developing into a keen interest in graphic design, which opened up a whole new world of possibilities!

Building brands on the web since 2016

Crafty Fox Web was launched when an opportunity arose to establish something of my own, focusing on areas that enhanced my design skills.

At this time, I had over 19 years experience in various roles, including database development, building a corporate intranet platform with SharePoint, incorporating automated workflow processes and brand themes, I had the pleasure to meet and work with some fantastic teams both national and international to deliver engaging solutions from detailed specifications.

I decided to fly solo because I wanted to be able to diversify and show off my wealth of experience in web technologies, which I have pursued as a hobby, creating logos and websites for which I received fantastic feedback. This, coupled with a curiosity to keep learning and developing ultimately gave me the enthusiasm to launch Crafty Fox Web.

Why Crafty Fox?

Short answer – I love foxes! 🦊

Did you know there are 23 different kinds? They are classified as canines but their offspring are called kits. Females are known as Vixens and males are Tods. The collective noun for foxes is a ‘skulk’.

Foxes have amazing low frequency hearing. They can hear a watch ticking from 36 metres away. Their vocabulary is extensive – they make over 40 different sounds! They have adapted to their changing environment and are great opportunists.
